I love your site. I have many memories of my mother also. My is now terminal and so I know first hand that grief is not just at death. I wanted to let you know that I posted your article on my website www.catmcc.com. Thank you so much for the wonderful addition to my website. Cathy McClellan
My mother, Marina, was the "rock" in my life. She died September 8, 2006 and was buried on her birthday, September 11, when she would have been 83 years of age.
I still feel the emptiness in my heart. She was one of the most unselfish people on earth and gave her family an abundance of love and caring.
How do we fill the huge hole in our hearts when a beloved mother dies? I must speak of her in order to honor her memory.
Please share your thoughts and experiences of losing or caring for your aging, ill mother. I hope it will ease your pain.
